THE PROJECT

This project was a very useful and interesting experience and it improved my knowledge of the English language. We had two English teachers who were very pleasant and helpful but Mrs Currò in particular did an excellent job managing the project.

The project, even if there were sometimes some difficulties, was very enjoyable and it created a new close knit group of classmates.

The activities done were interesting and got the whole group involved to create a very good relationship and friendship between the teachers and the students.

THE JOB

The job I had in Abergele initially wasn’t very enjoyable because it was a bit boring. I worked in a computer centre and I had to prepare a Power Point presentation about our experience in Wales. It was a digital story to be used as an example in future workshops with young people.

I would have preferred something more exciting like in a restaurant because I thought that in a computer centre I couldn’t talk much English but finally I changed my mind about this. Yes, to be a waitress was more exciting but here I had the possibility to talk English too. My boss was very helpful and kind and very patient repeating when I didn’t understand and so were the other people who worked there.

I improved my language thanks to the conversations  with them, using the computer in English and thanks to the young people who attended the computer centre everyday.

Even if it wasn’t the job that I wanted I enjoyed myself very much!!! This was a fantastic experience!

THE TRIP

The trip was fantastic but too short!!! We saw a lot of beautiful places like Manchester, Liverpool and a lot of typical Welsh castles!

Thanks to this trip now the group is closer and moreover this trip seemed like a summer holiday with friends!!!

“Dulcis in fundo”…LONDON is super fantastic!!! But only two days there was not enough…In these two days we had more fun than fifteen days spent in Wales! Besides we lived the emotion of the world cup in London that was wonderful.

Do you want the truth? This was the most beautiful and most interesting part of the project!!!

Thanks for everything and congratulations to the organisers of the project because it has succeeded!!!
